Tuskegee Experiment. Didn't know about this until today.
Blatant racism and harm of humans that was backed by what medical professionals and scientists (and most of society) supported as "science" and fact.
So when people question the "science" being reported, remember that there have always been and always will be scientists and medical professionals with an agenda, so it's prudent for people to question.
Questioning isn't a sign of ignorance, it's a sign of seeking truth. And even if people come to what you believe are the wrong conclusions, at least they were brave enough to question even when everything being fed to them freely (through media, government, celebrities) says they're wrong for questioning.
